Woody’s Lunch Box serves great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Toy Story theming is spot on although this restaurant is entirely outdoors so it can get hot and wet in the rain. Crowds can get quite busy by lunchtime, so we love to eat breakfast here after rope dropping our first ride of the day.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is your quick service spot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here, you can get pot roast, pork, and fried chicken. This location is also open for breakfast.

Backlot Express serves sandwiches, burgers, and chicken. ABC Commissary offers a variety of chicken, seafood, burgers, and salads.

When it’s open, PizzeRizzo may not serve the best pizza in Disney World, but it has a large, indoor seating area that’s usually quiet and uncrowded, making it a favorite.

A cluster of counter service locations at Sunset MarketCatalina Eddie’s, Rosie’s All-American Cafe, Fairfax Fare – are all unpopular choices with only outdoor seating. I try not to include too many personal opinions in these dining guides since everyone has different taste in both food and theming, but Sunset Market is a huge SKIP for me. It’s crowded, it’s hot, and the food just isn’t good!

BaseLine Tap House and the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge are fantastic adult options. If you’re unable to get a reservation at the Hollywood Brown Derby, stop by the outdoor lounge where you can order many of the same menu items.

Hollywood Studios Snacks

When you need to cool off with ice cream, check out Hollywood Scoops at the end of Sunset Boulevard for real ice cream sundaes (none of that soft serve!). Since our boys aren’t thrill-seekers, we enjoy using Hollywood Scoops as our child swap location. One of us will ride Tower of Terror or the Rock ‘n Roller Coaster while the other parent enjoys ice cream with the kiddos and then we switch!

Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has offers more substantial savory snacks and a brief breakfast menu.

The carrot cake cookie from the Trolley Car Cafe (the Starbucks location in this park) is a Hollywood Studios favorite.

Get a Num Num Cookie and other Incredibles-themed snacks from the Neighborhood Bakery at Pixar Place.

Character Dining at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood & Vine is the only character dining restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, offering buffet dining with Disney Junior characters for breakfast and seasonal dining parties with Minnie Mouse. Minnie throws a different party for each season with friends dressed to the theme.

Table Service Restaurants

50’s Prime Time Cafe is a boisterous atmosphere where cast members are your “cousins” and “mom” is in the kitchen fixing your meal. You don’t have to play along, but it sure is fun when you do! Cuisine is comfort food like pot roast and meatloaf. Without a reservation, get a seat at the bar and order off the full menu at the adjacent Tune-In Lounge.

The Hollywood Brown Derby is the most high-end restaurant at Hollywood Studios, themed to old Hollywood.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano serves Italian cuisine.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant definitely has one of the most unique atmospheres of any Disney restaurant. American fare is served in a dining room staged (inside) as an outdoor drive-in movie theater where the tables are in cars and science-fiction movie clips play on the big screen.

ABC Commissary offers reservation-based deluxe fast casual dining for dinner while lunch is regular quick service.

Dining at Hotels Near Hollywood Studios

The same hotels on Crescent Lake that are just outside Epcot’s International Gateway are also a walk or boat ride away from Hollywood Studios. Complimentary FriendShip boat service is also offered to these hotels, but they are so close that walking is usually faster than waiting for a boat.

Beach and Yacht Club

  • Cape May Cafe – character breakfast buffet with Minnie and friends in beach attire; seafood buffet for dinner with no characters
  • Yachtsman Steakhouse – fine/signature dining – American steakhouse cuisine
  • Beaches and Cream Soda Shop – American cuisine and ice cream, with a to go window
  • Ale & Compass restaurant and lounge – casual American cuisine

Boardwalk Inn

  • Ample Hills Creamery – arguably the best ice cream in all of Disney World
  • BoardWalk Bakery – sandwiches and pastries
  • Trattoria al Forno – Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast (plated entrees) with Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider; dinner is Italian cuisine
  • Flying Fish – fine/signature dining, American cuisine/seafood
  • Big River Grille & Brewing Works – microbrewery and casual American cuisine
