Welcome!

Hi, I’m Traci. My husband, Jeff, and I live with our two boys in Raleigh, North Carolina. New Jersey is home to all of my wonderful childhood memories and I’m now a “halfback” after living in southwest Florida for two decades.

We’re on a journey to simplify our lives, focussing on creating memories with our kids rather than collecting things, and documenting the little things in life that happen between the big moments. So, this blog is all about the things that allow us to create a foundation for a life of adventure with our spring and winter babies, our Tulip and our Snowflake (yes, we did the whole cheesy Winter One-derland first birthday party – no shame!).

On this blog, you will read a lot about travel with kids from planning cross-country road trips to sharing Walt Disney World tips to simply enjoying the outdoors at National Parks near and far. Our dream is to sell our house and most of our possessions to become nomads, travelling full-time in an RV. For now, we travel as much as our schedules with two working parents and kids in public school allow.

When I’m not busy planning our next trip or wandering through a random location on Google Streetview, I’m documenting memories from the latest adventure, family milestones, and the everyday moments that happen in between. My scrapbooking methods have changed over the years from creating Project Life pocket albums to photo books which have been structured seasonally to weekly to monthly. My style has remained minimalist, always photo-centric and light on scraps and embellishments. I’ll share all of these methods in hopes of inspiring others to see how quick and simple scrapbooking can be.
